If you have not submitted the 2025 lease data corresponding to your tourist or seasonal rental’s NRUA (Unique Alphanumeric Registration Number) before March 2, 2026, your NRUA will have been revoked. Consequently, your listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc., could be deactivated.
If this has occurred, in order to reactivate the NRUA and recover your listings, you will need to:
- Pay the revocation fees and request the activation of the NRUA, paying the registration fees again (€27 + VAT).
- Deposit the 2025 lease data in the Property Registry.
How do you create and file a short-term lease deposit?
By completing and submitting all the information in the short-term lease information form via the N2 application, which the Spanish Land Registrars (Registradores de España) make available to all users on their Electronic Office website.
The presentation will preferably be made telematically, although it will also be allowed in person by submitting the corresponding instance generated for this purpose from the same application.

Who can file the lease deposit?
It can be filed by the registered owner of the property, anyone who provides proof of managing the property for lease, or the representative who originally requested the NRUA. They must have an electronic signature and be registered for the electronic filing service.
